Halloween Zombie Punch

I love Halloween! Dressing up in scary costumes and making fun “finger” food (pun intended!) and cocktails. Since Halloween falls on a Friday this year, it will make for an extra fun evening. I wanted to make a disgusting and delicious cocktail to enjoy while the kiddos knock on doors begging for a sugar rush. 😉 Hey, adults need a treat too!

Halloween Zombie Punch

I created a nasty looking, yet yummy Halloween Zombie Punch. If you know me, you know I’m addicted to wine and sangria. I say there’s a sangria for every season and Halloween is no exception. If you enjoy wine and wine cocktails, you’ll have a blast sipping on this during the Haunted hours. LOVE IT! 😀

 Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle dry white wine (I used Pop Crush Pinot Grigio)
  • 1 Cup Pimms Blackberry and Elderflower Liquer
  • 5 Cups Sierra Mist
  • 8-10 Strawberries
  • 10-12 Blackberries
  • 15-20 Raspberries
  • Blood Red Gel Food Coloring
  • Spooky Halloween Cups

Directions:

  • Wash and trim berries

088

  • Blend berries in food processor or blender until slightly liquid and slightly chunky (it should look like blood and guts!)

097

  • Add Wine and Sierra Mist to large pitcher
  • Add blended fruit to wine mixture (reserve 1/3 cup of fruit mixture for topping drinks)
  • Mix Well
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours prior to serving
  • Prep Glasses/Cups with Blood Red Food Coloring, simply run the food coloring around the edge of the cup
  • Fill each cup with the wine/fruit mixture and top with extra blended fruit for a gross, chunky appearance
  • Enjoy delicious Halloween Zombie Punch!
