Easy Kale Recipe
I was always a little intimidated by kale, because it’s not something I had eaten often. Although I was a little intimidated, the health benefits of kale are quite impressive. One cup of chopped kale has only about 30 calories is high in calcium, vitamin A, vitamin C, and a vitamin K. It is also a good source of copper, potassium, iron, manganese, and phosphorus. The health benefits can’t be ignored, so we decided to give kale a try. You should give it a try with this easy kale recipe too!
My husband and I decided to grow kale in our garden. It’s actually quite easy to grow, and even easier to prepare. It makes a delicious side dish, even my kids wanted to eat is at dinner time. How incredible is that?!
Here’s a super easy recipe for sauteed kale.
- 3- 4 cups Garden Fresh (or store bought) kale
- 2-3 tbsp. Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp Water
- 1 clove Garlic (minced)
- Sea Salt (to taste)
- Mrs. Dash original seasoning (to taste)
- Wash kale
- Heat Olive Oil in saute pan over medium heat
- Add minced garlic and saute for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant
- Add kale, water, salt and Mrs. Dash
- Saute in pan until kale is wilted
