Taking a bath with essential oils can be uplifting, relaxing and soothing. Adding essential oil to your tub is a great way to bond with your children or relieve your mind of worry and stress. Let’s talk about using essential oils in the bath. I’ll give you a few suggestions to help you create the perfect experience.
Using Essential Oils in the Bath
Choose your essential oil depending on your mood and the atmosphere you’re trying to create. You’ll also need a few other ingredients.
What You’ll Need:
- 1/2 Cup Epsom Salt
- 4-8 drops essential oil (4 for children and up to 8 for adults)
- 2-3 Tbsp Organic Coconut Oil (olive, vegetable or other carrier oil will work too)
- Mix together ingredients in a bowl with a wooden mixing spoon
- Run warm bath
- Slowly pour mixture into bath
- Soak for 20 minutes or more
