Spiced Sangria Recipe

I was invited to a girls only cocktail party tonight. Each person is responsible for bringing a fun Holiday drink to the party for everyone to try.  You’re also supposed to bring a copy of your recipe. It’s like a twist on the Holiday cookie exchange. This is a much better idea in my opinion! I whipped up this spiced sangria recipe to take along with me. One of my favorite drink recipes is sangria. I always joke that I’m famous for my sangria! Every summer party I attend or host, I hear: “where’s the sangria?”.  Sangria is generally a light summer drink and I wanted to add a Holiday twist. I added a little spiced rum and cinnamon and voila, my spiced sangria was born.  I’m really happy with the result and I hope you’ll enjoy it too! It’s simple, nothing complicated. Anyone can make this one, I promise! Let’s begin…

Spiced Sangria Ingredients

Spiced Sangria Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 1 Bottle Red Wine (Cabernet, Merlot, Pinot Noir, etc)
  • 3 Tbsp. spiced rum (like Sailor Jerry)
  • 2 liter bottle of Sierra Mist
  • 1 Orange (sliced)
  • 1 small lime (sliced)
  • 1 small lemon (sliced)
  • 6-7 strawberries (sliced)
