Natural Wood Cleaner Recipe

With so many harmful ingredients in store bought cosmetics and cleaners, why not make your own? I for one am sick of hosing my furniture down with chemical-laden sprays. I’ve been on a mission to make my own, effective cleaning sprays for household use.

Natural Wood Cleaner Recipe

I created this Natural Wood Cleaner Recipe out of trial and error.

I found so many recipes online that use an excessive amount of oil. It left my gorgeous wood table greasy and streaky. I was unhappy. Then I tried a couple recipes that used lemon juice and vinegar. It was so harsh, I was afraid it would strip and fade the wood. So, here’s what I came up with. It leaves my wood tables clean and without an oily residue.

  4. What a sweet spray bottle! Thank you for your well-structured and useful post, Nicole! Jojoba oil sounds great. By the way I use it for hydrating my skin and it works. I’m going to try your recipe and I’m sure it will help! By the way my recipe for cleaning wood surfaces is: 1 cup water, 3 tablespoons vinegar, 2 tsp olive oil and 1/2 natural dish soap. Thank you again for sharing! Good luck!
