I love Sangria and have been officially named the “Sangria Expert” by my friends and family. I’m always asked to make Sangria for parties and cookouts. I recently bought a nice bottle of Limoncello (Caravella) and it was delicious. I wanted to incorporate the bright lemon flavor of the Limoncello into a Sangria, that’s when I came up with this Lemon Sangria recipe. It’s delicious and sure to be a hit at your next cookout!
It’s ridiculous how easy it is to make this recipe. All you do is cut up your fruit, mix the liquids together and let it sit to develop the delicious, bright fruit flavors. I really like how this recipe turned out and if you use frozen pineapple and mango it’s super quick. It works best if you let it sit for about 4 hours before drinking, but you can drink it right away if you’re anxious!
- 1 Bottle Dry White Wine (I used “the Beach House”)
- 4 Cups Sierra Mist
- 1 Cup Club Soda
- 1/2 Cup Limoncello (I used Caravella)
- 1 Green Apple (Peeled, Cored and Chopped)
- 1-2 Meyer Lemons (Washed and sliced)
- 1/2 Cup Frozen Pineapple
- 1/2 Cup Frozen Mango
- Add Fruit and Liquids to Large Pitcher
- Stir to Blend
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours (to infuse fruit flavor)
I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as my friends and family do. This will be my go-to Sangria recipe for the summer. It’s fun to play around with different wines and fruit. You can use just about any white or yellow fruit in this recipe. I think the green apple and lemon give it a nice ZING though! I would love to know what you think.
