Going green means evaluating every aspect of your life, from what you eat to what you apply to your skin. Your body is a temple, it’s how you present yourself to the world and it’s also your home for the rest of your life. Whether or not you’re aware, what you put on the outside of your body effects your insides too. Our skin is our largest organ and it’s constantly absorbing whatever touches it. Being aware of this is what led me to making my own skincare products and I’m always in search of other like-minded, natural companies. That’s why I was so excited to be introduced to Buds and Scrubs!

My Experience with Buds and Scrubs
Buds and Scrubs has such an incredible selection of natural products. For this review, I chose three enticing products: Cleansing Facial Grains, Lavender Lemon Toner and Rosewater Tonic. I absolutely LOVE these products and couldn’t imagine living without them!
Cleansing Facial Grains
Ingredients: Rolled Oats, French Green Clay, Lavender Flowers, Rose Petals, Lavender Essential Oil
The Cleansing Facial Grains are designed to gently exfoliate your skin. One of the first things I noticed when I opened the jar was how wonderful the blend smelled. It reminded me of being at the spa. You simply scoop a small amount into your hand and add water, then apply to your face in a circular motion. This scrub left my skin incredibly soft and smooth. It is fairly abrasive and I have sensitive skin, so I use it once or twice a week for a deep clean. The ladies at Buds and Scrubs recommend following this cleanser with a toner or tonic.
Lavender Lemon Toner
Ingredients: Witch Hazel Extract, Lavender Flowers, Lemon Peel, and Lavender Essential Oil (Lavandula angustifolia)
The Lavender Lemon Toner is designed to soothe your skin, tighten pores and bring out the best of your complexion. You should always cleanse your skin prior to using. This gentle toner is safe for all skin types because of the natural witch hazel base and herbal infusion. I followed my deep cleaning scrub with this gentle toner and noticed my skin looked bright and fresh. It’s also gentle enough that I can use it everyday.
Rosewater Facial Tonic
Ingredients: Rosewater Hydrosol, Filtered Water, Glycerin
The Rosewater Facial Tonic is an incredible facial spray to use anytime. Although the ladies at Buds and Scrubs recommend using it after cleansing, I found it to be refreshing and invigorating throughout the day. I allow my skin to breathe on the weekends by going make-up free and this tonic was a wonderful addition to my regimen. I use it throughout the day to cool down, freshen up and feel invigorated. The natural rose scent is uplifting and soothing.
This is my favorite Buds and Scrubs product. I absolutely LOVE IT and highly recommend it!
I have very sensitive skin and this tonic soothes my skin when it’s irritated and red.
